• Phan Thiet is a coastal city in Southeastern beaches and fishing industry. It is the capital of Binh Thuan province and is located about 200km northeast of HCMC. This location is a coastal city, economic and cultural center of Binh Thuan province, and is probably the destination familiar to domestic and foreign visitors.

• Best season for travel: 

Rainy season: lasts from May to October, but during the rainy season, it doesn’t rain all day long and you can still enjoy the good and sunny weather when coming here at this time. Better avoid visiting Phan Thiet in July and August due to the 2 wettest months of the year.

Dry season: from November to April when it’s sunny and windy.

• Transportation:

Flight: There is no airport in Phan Thiet so the best and the fastest way to get there is transfer from Sai Gon to Phan Thiet, it takes about 4 hours driving.

Train: there are 2 train trips per day, departing at 6:10 am and 7:15am, arrive to Phan Thiet station. Depending on seat types, one-way ticket price will be from 10 – 15 USD.

Sleeper bus: more convenient and cheaper than train since there are many trips in day for you to choose. They also provides pick-up and drop-off services at tourist areas, hotel, and homestays in the main road in Mui Ne. Some recommended buses are Phuong Trang (Futa), Kumho Samco, Hanh Café,…
