  • Kon Tum Wooden Church: Built in the early 20th century by French missionaries, the church is known for unique wooden architecture and cultural significance. The church’s design combines traditional Vietnamese and European elements, creating a visually striking and spiritually significant place of worship.

  • Kon Klor suspension bridge: Famous as the largest cable - stayed bridge in the Central Highlands, Kon Klor suspension bridge was built in 1993 and put into use a year later. Located across the famous Dak Bla river, with a length of 292m and a width of 4.5m, the bridge looks like a giant silk strip, adding orange color to the majestic beauty of Kon Tum city.

  • Pa Sy waterfall: a stunning natural attraction which is surrounded by lush greenery and towering trees, this picturesque waterfall cascades down a series of rocky cliffs, creating a mesmerizing display of water and mist.

  • The Virgin Mary of Mang Den: considered a famous spiritual tourist destination. It’s the pilgrimage site of Catholics and being visited by almost all Catholic followers during their Mang Den trip.

  • Mang Den Pine Forest: Known as the “second Dalat” of the Central Highlands, Mang Den Pine Forest is a picturesque natural attraction that creates a majestic and expansive mountainous landscape, offering fantastic check-in spot.

  • Best season for travel: Kon Tum’s climate is divided into 2 distinct seasons: the rainy season usually starts from April to November, the dry season from December to March next year. If you want to see the scene of coffee flowers blooming in the sky, visitors should go in March. December is when wild sunflowers are in season, blooming brightly in the sunlight.

  • Transportation: 

. By air: currently Kon Tum does not have any airport, so the best way is travel to Pleiku (away from Kon Tum about 50km) and travel by bus from Pleiku airport to Kon Tum

. By road: travelers from Hanoi are advised to opt for the flight route, considering the distance of approximately 1,100km. For those journeying from HCMC, they can take a self-driven trip along highway 14 or take buses from HCMC’s Eastern Bus Station.
