  • From September to November: enters the floating season, which is perfect for exploring the canals and visiting the floating markets.

  • From December to February: have an amazing experience the lively atmosphere of Tet holiday and admire the beautiful flower village like Sa Dec, Tan Dong Quy, and Vi Thanh.

  • Transportation:

  • Plane: Can Tho has airport that connect to HCMC and Hanoi and it has daily flights from those cities.

  • Bus: Every city in Mekong Delta has a main bus station for both buses and minibuses, you can choose Futa (Phuong Trang) Bus lines, Mai Linh express,.. with the price ranges from 60,000 VND to 120,000 VND depending on the kind of bus, seat choice and travelling time.

*Remember to book the bus ticket early in advance especially when you travel during the high season.

Boats: some delta cities have boat connections between them, this is the best way to explore the small waterways and floating markets in the Mekong.
