  • Best season for travel: 

Rainy season: lasts from May to October, but during the rainy season, it doesn’t rain all day long and you can still enjoy the good and sunny weather when coming here at this time. Better avoid visiting Phan Thiet in July and August due to the 2 wettest months of the year.

Dry season: from November to April when it’s sunny and windy.

  • Transportation:

  • Flight: There is no airport in Phan Thiet so the best and the fastest way to get there is transfer from Sai Gon to Phan Thiet, it takes about 4 hours driving.

  • Train: there are 2 train trips per day, departing at 6:10 am and 7:15am, arrive to Phan Thiet station. Depending on seat types, one-way ticket price will be from 10 – 15 USD.
